Free Video Editor — Multi-Track Timeline, Right in Your Browser

A genuinely robust, free online video editor. Stack video and audio tracks, trim and split on a real timeline, add fades and keyframes, grade color on the GPU, and export a frame-accurate MP4 or AV1 file. No install. No subscription. Your media stays on your device.

A real timeline, not a one-shot generator

Most free browser tools give you filters and a single clip. ZSky's editor gives you stacked video and audio tracks with drag-to-move, edge trimming, split at the playhead, snapping, fade-in and fade-out transitions, and keyframe animation for position, scale, rotation, and opacity. Color grading runs on the GPU through WebGL: exposure, contrast, highlights and shadows, temperature and tint, vibrance, saturation, clarity, sharpness, and vignette.

Frame-accurate export with WebCodecs

Export is where most browser editors fall down, because they capture the canvas in real time and drop frames. ZSky renders every output frame deterministically and encodes it with the browser's hardware-accelerated WebCodecs pipeline, then muxes a clean MP4 (H.264 or AV1) or WebM. That means real bitrate and codec control, true frame accuracy, and crisp results. On browsers without WebCodecs the editor falls back to a realtime recording so it still works everywhere.

Built for social and beyond

Set the canvas to 9:16 for Reels, Shorts, and TikTok, 1:1 for square, or 4:5 for feed, and export at HD or up to 4K depending on your browser. Drop in clips you generated on ZSky, your own uploads, images, and audio, then arrange and cut them on the timeline.
